Looks cool?!
Future Sumo wrestlers in Japan want to wear cycling shorts rather than "Sumo pants". As young generations taste is getting fashionable, amateur young wrestlers think that pants(on the picture) are awkward with which I absolutely agree. However, there're some people who will not allow this to happen. Why not? Do they think of sumo pants as a sexual and attractive material? It ain't look sexy, you know that! Let pubescent kids wear cycling shorts! Nobody cares whatever they wear. In fact, no one's going to watch Sumo games. Have you heard of K-1 or Pride? People love'em : - )

Where Dokdo belongs to?
The Alliance getting worse
The diplomatic issue over two countires is now the hottest pot not only to both countries, but to the East Asia. Dokdo is a serious symbol to Koreans as the independence from Japan's colonial rule. As far as I know, Japan has no right to claim the sovereignty of rocky Dokdo islands just for its fisheries. The Korea government has changed its attitude from passivism to enthusiastic diplomacy which is completely late. However, I just don't understand what is Japan's intention. There is something behind! How come Japanese say they have a feeling of closeness to South Korean people while their government declared "Takeshima(Dokdo is called Takeshima by Japanese government) Day"? How come Japanese Education Minister Nakayama told us he does not hope to pour cold water on the deepening of friendly relations while he has been leading to publish the new distorted history textbooks on Japan's colonial rule over South Korea? Korea government has been looking on this controversy as a spectator for too long time. It is even taking the compensation issue for war victims back on the table. Shouldn't it be enough already? Now it's a time to focus on Dokdo's controversy, not the old-tailed excuse.
We don't have to watch the one man setting himself on fire to express his anger to Japan government(not to Japanese, but to Japan government. In fact, Japanese people haven't got enough interest in this issue.) in front of the Japan Embassy in Seoul.
Emotions and diplomacy, can they never go together?

The less sleep, the better score
News from http://joongangdaily.joins.com/200503/13/200503132305007139900090409041.html
Can you imagine 5 hours sleep a day in over-pressured highschool life? This is not a joke, because many of students from Sogang Univ had gone through this unbelievable procedure. According to this(Joongang daily national, Mar 14, 2005, by Sohn Hae-yong, Lee Min-a) , Hankuk Academy students study at least by 1:00 am, and next day starts at 6 a.m. Do you really think 5 hours sleep is good enough for students' daily life? I still believe that whoever get less sleep at night will get more sleep during a day. 5 hours sleep and other extra activities(such as playing sports and musical intruments) cannot be mixed in study-oriented world! I would sleep at least more than 7 hours if I could go back to my highschool.

Have you been Goldcoast(Surfers Paradise) in Australia? Yeah~ I have. There's some amusement parks; Wet&Wild, Seaworld, and Movieworld. I had those selections, but after getting information from my friends who've been in movieworld, I headed to it without hesitation. You see that picture? He made fun out of all the people watching Police Academy Stunt Show. He was so~~funny. He whistled around the audience making them got scared. I will never forget his funny gesture 'Thumbs up!'. Besides it, I'd hopped around every single movie show including movie star street show, Matrix museum, and Water ride. One big difference from Everland in Korea, Goldcoast has 3 amusement parks in a near area. You have no doubt it wasn't even crowded at all, because people had minimum 3 selections. They go where they wanna go that day.
The reason why Goldcoast's called Surfers Paradise is that there is beautiful beaches and great tide just good enough for surfing. Surfers love to go there, and even stay couple weeks just for surfing. How great is that? Though I couldn't have a chance to learn surfing because of a tight tour schedule, I could see lots of surfers at backpackers(travellers motel). Why my country doesn't have a single good beach for surfing? I was so jealous about Australia's surfing environment. I would take a 25$ day surfing training course if I had just one more day. Maybe next time I visit to Australia? Tell me about it, I definitely go to surf. I won't miss it!!

I've been thinking about how to do my blog since I started English Writing course. There are so many things I want to blog about, however, I just can't get a grip which one should be talked about first. As I mentioned on the profile, I like playing and watching sports, listening musics, watching movies and etc., Most importantly, I'm not a well-trained writer. After serious consideration, I've decided to talk about my Australia story where I took a trip for 3 weeks following her eastcoast line. To start with, that's my ugly face with beautiful beach in Byron bay. It took 14 hours from Sydney by bus. While traveling on the bus, I got blacked out because of over-cooling airconditioning. Everyone around me got scared and yelled at the bus driver to stop the bus. Yes, that was pretty impressive to start my trip.
